Pulled from Buzzard’s Roost’s reserve collection of fine casks, this single-barrel, barrel-strength bourbon is a showcase of what makes the distillery’s approach to double oak whiskey so special.

Aged in specially toasted and charred casks, this bourbon embodies the art, science, and innovation behind Buzzard’s Roost’s distinctive double oak process.

At 116.6 proof, it delivers the bold character and complexity we look for in an exceptional barrel selection, with the depth that made this particular barrel stand out to our B&B and Nebraska Bourbon Society selection team.

🔥 Tasting Notes

First barreled in August 2019, then placed into its second barrel in September 2023, this bourbon brings inviting aromatics, peppery spice, and a finish worth lingering over.

NOSE: Cigar box, crème brûlée, brown sugar, and vanilla extract, with a touch of apricot.

PALATE: Delicate cherry blossom meets black pepper, followed by a touch of white pepper as the sip develops.

MOUTHFEEL: Medium-bodied and beautifully mouth-coating, wrapping the palate and cheeks with a satisfying, chewy texture.

FINISH: A lingering, warming hug with cherry and a sweet, chewy impression reminiscent of dates.
